Core values

What shapes the way we live.

Our statement of faith explains what we believe. Our values show the focus and perspective that guide our decisions, our relationships, and the way we serve.

More than words

Values become visible.

They show up in what we protect, what we pursue, and how we treat people. We do not simply post these values. We work to live them every day, in every area of life.

Rooted in Jesus

The foundation under everything.

Our faith begins with God’s Word, stays centered on Jesus, and moves through prayer and a sincere walk with God.

01

Biblically Based

We value God’s Word as the inspired and authoritative foundation of our faith. We stand firm where Scripture stands firm and remain flexible where it allows freedom.

2 Timothy 3:16
02

Jesus Centered

Jesus is the answer in every moment and for every need. We will not be distracted by politics, cultural wars, or shallow answers to spiritual problems. We believe Jesus transforms hearts, and transformed hearts change culture. Full devotion to Jesus is normal for every believer.

Luke 9:23
03

Passionate About Prayer

In everything, we pray and seek God first. Prayer is not a last resort or a ministry accessory. It is essential to everything we do.

Colossians 4:2
04

Authentic in Our Walk

Authenticity, integrity, openness, and sincerity will define us. We want our lives to match what we say we believe.

1 Timothy 1:5

People matter

Grace makes room for real people.

We reach beyond ourselves, extend the grace we have received, build honest relationships, and welcome people before they have everything figured out.

05

Committed to the Uncommitted

Lost people matter to God, so they matter to us. Reaching people no one else is reaching may require doing what no one else is doing. We will reach, love, encourage, equip, and empower people to experience life through Jesus, no matter their past or pain.

Luke 19:10
06

Advocates of Second Chances

We depend completely on the goodness and grace of God. Sin shames us into hiding, but the love of Jesus draws us out. Because we have received grace, we eagerly extend it to others.

Ephesians 2:8–9
07

Committed to Community

Life change happens best in relationships. We choose accountable, encouraging community where people are known, supported, and challenged to grow.

Hebrews 10:24–25
08

Outrageous Hospitality from the Street to the Seat

An empty seat is a serious matter. We want every first-time guest to know we were praying for them, expecting them, and ready to welcome them. People can belong before they know how to behave.

Builders and senders

We contribute, give, and multiply.

Following Jesus moves us from the sidelines to service, from holding back to generosity, and from maintenance to multiplying what God has placed in our hands.

09

Saved People Serve

We are spiritual contributors, not spiritual consumers. The church does not exist for us. We are the church, and we exist for the world. Every believer has a gift to use in serving others, and excellence honors God.

1 Peter 4:10 · Colossians 3:17
10

Radical in Giving

Giving is not a donation. It is our grateful response to the generosity of God. We give our time, talents, and treasure because people matter to God and they matter to us.

11

We Don’t Maintain, We Multiply

We operate in audacious faith. We refuse small thinking and safe living when God is calling us forward. We dream big and take bold risks for His Kingdom.

We Love Anderson

This city is not beyond revival.

We love our city. We will not shrug our shoulders at its struggles or agree with the lie that Anderson is beyond revival or redemption. That pessimism is not discernment. It is defeat dressed up as realism, and we will not wear it.

The God who called Nehemiah to rebuild broken walls and sent Jonah to a city that looked like a lost cause is the same God who ordered our steps to Anderson, Indiana. We are here to pray, serve, build, and believe for this city.

Come see these values in action.

You do not have to take our word for it. Join us this Sunday and meet the people who are learning to live this out together.
