Our team

Shepherds, builders, and servants.

GT Church is led by people who love Jesus, care for people, and believe the local church can help a city flourish.

Lead pastor

David K. Crawford

"You cannot lead people somewhere you haven't been."

David Crawford is the lead pastor of GT Church. He preaches the way he pastors: biblical but practical, a story, a laugh, and a straight answer.

Ask him about the Holy Spirit and he will talk all afternoon. Ask him about budgets, buildings, and next steps and he will do the same, because he believes both belong to the same calling. God changes people. A healthy church is ready to care for the people He sends. That conviction shapes how GT is built: leaders developed on purpose, ministries connected instead of scattered, and a real plan for the person walking in this Sunday for the first time.

What keeps him going is watching somebody move from the back row to the front lines. A new believer getting baptized. A volunteer becoming a leader. A family finding a church home. He would rather build something that outlasts him than fill a room for a weekend.

DeAnna is his wife of 36 years and his closest teammate in ministry. She serves alongside him at GT, works with the worship and choir teams, and is usually the one making sure the details actually land, which is the kind of work most people never see and every church depends on. David talks about the assignment as "DeAnna and I," because that is how the calling came.

Together they have a daughter, Danielle, who married Lim, and a granddaughter, Amira, who runs the family schedule and has never once been told no. Most weeks you will find the two of them at church early, home late, and glad about both.
